1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Orbit’s website, mobile application, or services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

Orbit provides a platform that enables users to discover and book strictly platonic, activity-based social experiences with independent hosts.

Orbit:

Does not provide dating, romantic, or sexual services
Does not employ hosts
Does not guarantee outcomes or experiences

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.

4. Accounts

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Use the Services in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws

Orbit reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, community guidelines, or safety standards.

5. Bookings & Payments

a. Payments

Users pay to book activities through the platform
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe)
Prices are displayed upfront
Orbit may retain a service fee (see Host Guidelines for fee structure details)

b. Host Payouts

Only hosts receive payouts for completed activities
Payouts are issued net of applicable service fees
Users do not receive payments through the platform

c. Cancellations & Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are governed by:

The activity’s stated cancellation policy
Orbit’s platform rules

Orbit may issue refunds at its discretion in cases involving safety concerns or policy violations.

6. Optional Gratuities

Orbit does not currently offer tipping functionality. If optional gratuities are introduced in the future, such gratuities will be:

Optional
Clearly disclosed
Paid directly to hosts

7. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from Orbit, you agree to the following terms:

a. Program Names

Orbit Verification: Account verification codes (OTP)
Orbit Alerts: Booking confirmations, reminders, and important account notifications

b. Program Descriptions

Orbit Verification provides one-time passcode (OTP) verification codes to verify your phone number.

Orbit Alerts provides booking confirmations, booking reminders, cancellation notices, and important account notifications via text message.

c. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity. You may receive:

Verification codes when you request phone verification
Booking confirmations when you complete a booking
Booking reminders before scheduled activities
Account security alerts when unusual activity is detected

d. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

e. Opt-Out Instructions

You can cancel SMS messages at any time. Text STOP to any message you receive from Orbit. After texting STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe.

f. Help and Support

For help or questions about SMS messages, text HELP to any message you receive from Orbit, or contact us at support@orbitplatformhq.com.

g. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

h. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Your mobile phone number will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

8. Platform Role & Disclaimer

Orbit is a marketplace platform only and is not a party to interactions between users and hosts.

Users acknowledge that:

Activities are undertaken at their own discretion
Orbit does not supervise or control interactions
Orbit is not responsible for individual conduct or outcomes

Users are encouraged to meet only in public or virtual settings as described in activity listings.

9. Community Standards

Orbit is strictly platonic. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

Romantic or sexual services
Harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior
Misrepresentation or fraudulent activity
Illegal activities
Attempts to move interactions off-platform for prohibited purposes

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, content, and materials related to Orbit are owned by Orbit Transactions LLC and may not be used without prior written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbit Transactions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.
